STUDENTS PARTY FAQS

1. Learning outside the classroom

Escape rooms are a perfect school holiday activity, since they’re genuinely fun and immersive activities, whilst also being full of essential ‘soft skills’ that parents and educators can’t always teach in a formal setting.

2. Widening social skills and circles

Putting your kids in groups with older family members or relatives they don’t typically interact with is a great way to widen and strengthen these networks. It also facilitates stronger communication skills with multiple generations, and different approaches to problem solving.

3. Introduction to different ways of learning

Our escape rooms are designed to cater towards all different types of thinkers, with a variety of puzzle types. Not everyone flourishes in a classroom setting, so these hands-on challenges can help kids figure out their natural learning styles, and what engages their brain. Your teenagers may even discover a new interest in one of our room’s distinct themes.

4. It’s a fun way to let off steam

Whether you’re a parent or a tutor, you’ve no doubt been a first-hand witness to all the hard work that goes into revision time and exam preparation. Our escape rooms are designed first and foremost to be fun, offering a hint of mystery and fear to get wrapped up in for an hour of escapism.

Escape Rooms Melbourne is not a licensed venue and therefore cannot allow alcohol on our premises. To keep the space clean, we also do not allow food in our rooms. As South Melbourne is a bustling suburb with eclectic eateries and delicious market food, there’s no shortage of places to eat at once you get hungry. Embrace your inner detective in an escape room before going out with your friends for some delicious food and beers.
